The Rolex Submariner 5508 No-Date, introduced in 1957, has a 37mm case and a Caliber 1530 movement.
This model is one of the last to retain the iconic features of the original Submariner models. This watch has no crown protector. It is distinguished from the other "no crown protector" references by its 6 mm screwed crown, which is significantly smaller than the ones on the other references. This is also the last Submariner that can withstand water pressures of up to 100 meters. The following models are water resistant up to 200 meters.
